Enviro Tiger Fest
“Humankind must learn to understand that the life of an animal is in no way less precious than our own.”
― Paul Oxton
On the Occasion of Global Tiger day 2020, the Cottonwood International School is going to organize ‘Enviro Tiger Fest’ on the bright sunny morning of 29th July, 2020.
The ‘Enviro Tiger Fest’ offers an exceptional opportunity for inter-school interactions between esteemed environmentalists, distinguished principals, teachers, students and parents that will enable them to understand the social responsibilities which we all have to perform as a global citizen. Moreover, it provides a virtual platform to express them in the way that sends a strong yet respectful message to the society, across the world, that emphasis on the need to protect the planet ‘Earth’ and ‘Wildlife’. The chief objective of this fest is to focus on the reality that by saving tiger, we are not only protecting the ‘Mother Earth’ but also ourselves too.
The ‘Enviro Tiger Fest’ will go ON AIR through the virtual platform Zoom and Facebook live on School’s Official Facebook page at 12 noon (IST) on 29th July, 2020.
People, including educationalist, principals, teachers, students and parents of various schools of India and abroad are going to be the part of this mega event that will unquestionably be the great motivation to make this event a grand success.
We take the privilege to share that this event is going to mark its presence for Official Record Attempt of "WORLD BOOK OF RECORDS LONDON" in the category of "BIGGEST VIRTUAL ENVIRO TIGER FEST 2020". This is because bringing 1.5 thousand people on a virtual platform itself is a big task and for that Cottonwood international school is super confident to make it a reality.
To make this fest more enjoyable and worthy, there are various activities which have been added to it. We cordially invite all the students from different schools to participate in these amazing and fascinating activities.
LIST OF ACTIVITIES
Undoubtedly, COVID-19 has caused the schools to shut all over the world. Billions of children are out of the classroom and away from the real classroom experience. As a result, education has changed intensely and dramatically. With the distinctive rise of e-learning, whereby teaching is undertaken remotely and on digital platforms, Cottonwood International School decided to organize this grand fest that allows meritorious students to keep their competitive spirit high and alive. In real schools, students’ were always excited about such events where they could show their talent by participating in extracurricular activities. We believe that this energy of theirs must not be curbed because of this pandemic. Moreover, the below-mentioned activities are planned to organize to stimulate the feelings of lovingness to the Mother Nature and spreading the awareness of safeguarding the wildlife.
Kindly find below the list of activities. Please note, there are 6 exciting events in different categories. All the events and activities planned will be done virtually.
